Microblading is a slightly different eyebrows technique and also a part of tattooing family. Cosmetic tattooing can be done using machine and manual tools. So, what permanent make up makes different from traditional body tattoo? Pigments are different formulation and made specially for a cosmetic tattoo. Also, techniques and the pigment is implanted not so deep, but into the upper dermal layer of the skin.

What is happening during and after tattooing?
Tattooing is essentially making thousands of tiny wounds in the skin. This is when body reacts by sending immune system cells to the wound site to begin repair and decrease inflammation. Specialized cells called macrophages eat the pigment in order to clean up and decrease inflammation, and the cells travel back into the lymph nodes, which act as filters or traps in the body for foreign particles. Not all of the pigment is removed, and those left behind remain in the dermis cells, known as fibroblast, and remain visible in the skin.

Does permanent makeup procedures and eyebrows microblading painful?

It is one of the most frequently asked questions before permanent makeup procedure. Permanent makeup or microblading both it is cosmetic tattooing, just different techniques and tools. When implanting pigment under the epidermis using needles, process involves breaking the skin. So, it’s reasonable to expect that anytime this happens, there’s going to be some pain or discomfort feeling. Typically the discomfort or pain is felt by the very initial part of the treatment as an anesthetic help to reduce pain. It also depends on the tattooing area and of course, everyone has a different response of the procedure. Some clients report tickling, itching sensation, want to sneeze, for some is unpleasant or painful, as we all have own particular pain thresholds. More discomfort is felt by the women which are under stress, overburdened, have sensitive skin, during menstruation, if has tolerance for painkillers.
I'm trying to make process as relaxed and pain-free as possible. Most clients cope very well and says that it was more comfortable than they expected it to be, some do not feel any pain and rarely but happens... some fell asleep.

Once your procedure is complete, you should not experience any pain. However, skin got injured, so slight tingling, warming sensation totally normal and may soon wear of.

So, beautiful ladies, I think the fear of pain should not put you of enhancing your natural beauty. As you will get long-term weather proof results without daily filling, shaping and drawing. Amount of discomfort from having the tattooing work done is temporary and soon will be forgotten.
